How to help you overweight/obese child

You suspect your child has an eating disorder

Does my friend or family member have an eating disorder?

Given that we live in a culture that is preoccupied with thinness and physical appearance, it may be difficult to tell if your family member or friend is struggling with an eating disorder. Adolescents are especially vulnerable; although anyone undergoing significant life challenges may develop an Eating Disorder such as Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa.

Left untreated, Eating Disorders are life threatening and have serious long-term health implications. However, if detected and treated early, Eating Disorders achieve maximal opportunity for complete resolution. The specialists at The Boswell Center for Life Enrichment offer Solutions For Eating Disorders that build the individual's confidence as they and their families progress toward a healthful pattern of living.
